Special Notices
Coordinator's Report - The second report (5/17) is here! This report will provide additional responses to frequently asked questions and details on tournament logistics. Essential information will be incorporated throughout this website, but if you want to find out information about how we're handling such things as awards ceremony seating, you'll want to read these brief reports. If you missed it, here's the first report (4/28).
Food Tickets - The period for pre-ordering of food tickets has ended. For all event sites except the Radisson, you may still purchase tickets using cash at a table at each event site. Breakfast snacks and lunch will be available at FVTC and Appleton West on
Sunday using the same ticket process as Saturday. The Radisson will not have a luncheon on Sunday; however
there are fast food options within walking distance of the hotel.

Transportation - The period for requesting tournament event day shuttle service has ended. If you have not requested shuttle service, we'd recommend that you look into vehicle rental options. We have been receiving inquiries about local rental companies. We didn't negotiate any special rates, but you may have better luck calling the local office than renting through a travel website. The local car dealerships are your best chance at a 8 passenger van with room for Policy Debate or Extemp tubs. Please check out the Transportation link for more information.
Resolutions - Resolutions have been posted to both the NCFL website and this page of the Tournament website.
The Grand National Tournament Lincoln-Douglas Resolution is:
Resolved: That secondary education in America should value the fine arts over athletics.
The Grand National Tournament Public Forum Resolution is:
Resolved: That the US Government should increase social services for indigenous peoples in America.
Congress Legislation - Legislation is now available for download from the NCFL website and here: Prelims, Semis, and Finals.
Extemp Topics - Extemp topic areas have been broken down into three subtopic areas: A: US Presidential Politics, US Constitution Law and Justice, US Mass Media; B: Europe, Asia,
Southern Hemisphere; and C: Religion and Morality, Business and Finance and Health and Medicine.
Extemp File Drop-Off - If you would like to drop off your files in the Extemp Prep area on Friday, May 23rd, Hortonville High School will have people present from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m. to assist you. See below for details.
Father Carl Schmitt - We've lined up this exceptional speaker to present the Mass Saturday evening before results postings. For more information on Fr. Carl, please check out his bio. |
